Fragrance Type Analysis
Fragrance type analysis general explanation:
How do you find your perfume?
The fragrance type analysis was developed from the insights of color psychology by psychologists at the Freiburg Institute for Applied Aesthetics. Fundamentally, a distinction is made between a women's and men's fragrance type analysis. This is due to the fact that women are generally realistic in their choice of perfume and only want to emphasize what they actually are. They choose their fragrance according to the occasion or their current mood. On the other hand, men are more concerned with an ideal and they actually only underline what they would like to be. This means that a man's fragrance cannot be determined solely by colors. They also have to decide on a form.
The unfolding in three phases
1. Top Note: Scent opening that rises to the nose as the first impression. The fragrance is mixed with alcohol, which has to evaporate first and doesn't says much yet.
2. Heart Note: Middle part of a perfume creation, which only unfolds a few minutes after the perfume has been applied.
3. Base Note: Only sets in after 20 - 30 minutes, leaves an intense impression and lasts for many hours.
How does the fragrance type analysis work?
A fragrance should accentuate one's own personality! To simplify the choice of the perfect scent, the fragrance type analysis has been constructed in a very straightforward manner.
- 1. Take a quick look at the symbols of the individual fragrance types!
- 2. Decide intuitively and choose the symbol you like best! If you can't make a spontaneous decision, just choose two symbols that are approximately equal for you.
- 3. Read the corresponding type description of your choice!
- 4. Test the scents of your fragrance type.
Are you looking for women's fragrances or men's fragrances?
To find the ideal fragrance direction for you, you can either answer a few questions or select a symbol:
Fragrance Type 7 - The emotionally driven improviser
Fragrance Type: floral - fruity notes
Personality profile
Optimistic and full of life - this is how one could describe the attitude of the "emotional improviser." They love a bustling holiday in Ibiza just as much as a solitary cabin holiday in the Alps. With their fundamentally positive attitude towards life, they overcome every imaginable difficulty. The emotionally ambivalent woman solves problems more with feelings and inner voice than with rationale.
They demand of themselves not to let go, even when they feel like it. Talking about their suffering, being dull and boring - that's not for the "emotionally driven improviser".
She avoids people who are like this.
Despite their positive attitude towards life, they are much more vulnerable than it appears, as they skillfully conceal their emotions from others. If they feel uncomfortable, have been insulted or hurt, these women do everything they can to get over it as quickly as possible. For them, life is so varied and colorful that it's simply fun. First and foremost, they try to indulge themselves.
They like to spoil themselves. Their desired lifestyle involves plenty of freedom to improvise. Going to the department store to buy a new microwave and coming home with a new dress - that's the "emotionally driven improviser".
